LOCATIONS THE PRODUCER BOARD LTD

YOUR GATEWAY TO NEW ZEALAND

Everywhere in New Zealand is only two hours flight away and no more than 80 kms from the ocean. We have four distinct seasons and a temperate but widely ranging climate, from snow to sub-tropical.

And please note - the Southern Hemisphere offers Northern Hemisphere clients Summer in Winter, or Autumn in Spring.

One of the most remarkable things about New Zealand is the variety of dramatic landscapes, all within a short distance from each other. If you need Scandinavian fiords, Middle Eastern deserts, the Himalayas or Mt Fuji - as the Tom Cruise film "The Last Samurai" did - you can find it here. From glacial winter sport wonderlands to sophisticated cityscapes, stately country homes with peacocks to some of the best surf in the world, and breathtaking alpine roads to manicured farmland or unspoilt wilderness, this country has it all. So if your wish list is a multi-ethnic food market in the morning followed by volcanic geysers in the afternoon, we can accomplish it. Also, there are film location offices in every major city to facilitate international film crews.

One of the reasons Peter Jackson chose New Zealand to produce his "Lord of the Rings" trilogy was for its huge range of landscapes, as did Andrew Adamson for filming "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe".
